This fundamentals project explored the relationship between solid and void. Individual shapes were pulled out of paintings by Le Corbusier. These shapes were extruded in different ways and used to create voids within the earth that could hold the program of a bathhouse.
Considering the abstract nature of this project, it was intended to strengthen conceptual thought and fundamentals as a precursor to more realistic design.
