This project had me explore efficient, multi-dwelling design while creating a community-driven experience. The massing of the building seperates the ground floor into two outdoor spaces that serve two different purposes. One is adjacent to the street and allows the sidewalk to open into the site. The other is private and intended only for those who live in the building.
The units range from studios to three-bedroom apartments. These units, with the exception of the studios, are designed as duplexes, enabling corridors to be placed every other level and giving more square footage to the program.
