As a child, I had no idea that I would end up pursuing architecture, but all the signs were there. I was obsessed with creating things. I was constantly seeking new mediums to express myself.
I grew up in a family with no background in construction or design, and a high school with no architecture programs. Without knowing much about the field, I decided to attend New York Institute of Technology for architecture. I immediately fell down the rabbit hole... and this profession took over my life. I spent hours on my projects every semester and created meaningful relationships with every single design professor I had. I could not believe how much of a perfect fit architecture had become for me.
Today, I aim to utilize my skills to make a difference; not just at the scale of a single family home, but at a scale that affects large groups of people for the better.
