This project is a library that utilizes geometry to accomplish a multitude of functions. A hyperboloid is a geometric shape that inherently has structural qualities. On top of this, it can accomodate many sustainable features such as rain collection, light control, and air ventilation. It can even house vertical circulation, and provide a unique experience for visitors.
Since this is a through-lot, I opted to push the building to one side to allow passage all the way through. This also allows you to enter in the center and circulate to either side. The top floor is a large, open space that allows you to view the hyperboloid in its entirety on one side, or look down through it on the other.
